Conservation on the Veterans Room was well under way when I arrived in June of 2015. I came onto the project as a full-time intern for the Capital & Design team, which at the time was comprised of two people: the Director of Design and Construction and the Managing Director.  While the majority of my work was based in assisting them with project managment of the restoration, a lack of conservators and my background in conservation meant I was put to work, helping clean the final pieces of the room.
