Hi there! My name is Emily Kim and I’m a designer and ceramic tinkerer based in Brooklyn, NY.  I studied Architecture and Landscape Studies at Smith College (’15) where I developed an interest in the way we understand and navigate spac. I would like to use design as a tool to make more accessible routes to information and resources. My ceramic work explores precision and iteration in a medium that has seemingly endless possibile outcomes.



I am currently a Senior Designer at Calico Wallpaper, where I have worked for the past 5 years.

Outside of wallpaper and ceramic studios, I enjoy fermenting, pickling, shrubbing, and adding copious amounts of olives to spritzes.
